Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

New York Premier Landscapes, Inc., known as New York Decks and Premier Landscapes (“we,” “us,” or “our”), provides outdoor design, construction, landscaping, and maintenance services. We perform work only within New York City.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website and related inquiries, consultations, client communications, and employment applications. It applies to website visitors, prospective and current clients, people contacting us on behalf of a building or business, and job applicants. Our NYC service area does not limit where website visitors or service providers may be located.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

  • Contact and inquiry information: Your name, email address, telephone number, company or building affiliation, and information you provide through forms, email, telephone calls, or other correspondence.
  • Project and client information: Project addresses, service interests, plans, photographs, measurements, site details, scheduling information, estimates, agreements, and other information needed to discuss or carry out a project. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information or information about other people unless you are authorized to do so.
  • Application information: If you apply for a position, your contact details, resume, work history, qualifications, and other information you choose to provide. Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial account details, or similar sensitive information in an initial website inquiry or application.
  • Website and device information: Our website, hosting services, and any analytics or advertising tools we use may collect IP addresses, browser and device details, referring sources, pages viewed, visit dates and times, approximate location derived from technical data, and website interactions.

We may also receive relevant information from someone contacting us on your behalf, project partners, or service providers supporting these activities. Third-party collection and disclosure may also be governed by their own privacy policies.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to questions, arrange consultations, and prepare estimates or proposals.
  • Plan, coordinate, provide, and maintain our services and communicate about projects.
  • Manage client relationships, agreements, billing-related records, and other business administration.
  • Review employment applications and communicate with applicants.
  • Send relevant business updates or promotional communications where permitted, subject to the choices described below.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, improve, and secure our website and business systems.
  • Understand website use, measure advertising performance, and conduct advertising or remarketing where those tools are used.
  • Meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights, property, and the safety of others.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device; other technologies can record visits and interactions. These technologies may support essential website functions, remember preferences, analyze website performance, measure conversions such as inquiry submissions, and help deliver relevant advertising.

We may use third-party analytics and advertising services, including Google Analytics and Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords), Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft analytics such as Clarity, and Meta/Facebook business tools such as the Meta Pixel. These providers may collect or receive website activity, device and browser information, IP addresses, cookies, and other online identifiers. Analytics may include interaction analysis, heatmaps, or session replay showing clicks, scrolling, and navigation.

Where advertising features are used, we and providers may use first-party and third-party cookies or identifiers together for conversion reporting, demographics and interest reporting, audience creation, and remarketing to visitors on other websites or services. Providers may associate activity with other information they hold and process information for their own purposes under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

For further information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites, the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and the Meta Privacy Policy. We will provide notices and consent or opt-out mechanisms where required by applicable law.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information as appropriate for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Business service providers: Providers supporting website hosting, technology, communications, recordkeeping, and other business operations.
  • Project participants: Contractors, consultants, suppliers, building representatives, or other project partners where information is needed to coordinate or perform requested services.
  • Analytics and advertising providers: Providers described above, where their tools are used, for measurement and advertising under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
  • Professional advisers and legal disclosures: Advisers or relevant authorities where needed to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, address disputes, or protect rights, security, or safety.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable protections and legal requirements.
  • At your direction: Where you request or authorize a disclosure.

Disclosures to advertising providers may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws, even without a payment for the information. Whether these rules apply depends on the actual activity and applicable law. The choices below explain how to contact us about your information and manage available advertising preferences.

Project Photographs and Submitted Materials

If you send project photographs, drawings, or plans, we may use them to evaluate your inquiry, prepare proposals, and coordinate services. Please share only materials you are authorized to provide and avoid including unnecessary personal information.

If project photographs or descriptions are proposed for use in our portfolio, social media, or other promotional materials, that use is subject to applicable permissions and any agreement with the client or other rights holder. Submitting an inquiry does not by itself grant permission to publish your personal contact details. Contact us with questions or concerns about materials showing your property or identifying you.

Your Privacy and Marketing Choices

Information requests: You may contact us to ask about your personal information or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, including obtaining a copy of information, opting out of certain advertising-related disclosures or processing, or appealing a decision on a request. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority, and some requests may be subject to exceptions or recordkeeping requirements. Where applicable law provides these rights, we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising them.

Marketing communications: If you receive promotional emails from us, use any unsubscribe option provided or contact us to request that promotional messages stop. You may still receive communications needed to respond to an inquiry, administer an application, or manage an ongoing project or business relationship.

Cookies and advertising: You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Where a website cookie preference tool is available, you may also use it to manage the choices offered. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions.

These controls have different scopes. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all measurement or prevent advertisements from appearing. Choices may need to be set separately for each browser, device, or account and reset after deleting cookies. Where applicable law requires recognition of opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control, those requirements apply to covered processing. Browser signals and provider preference settings may have different effects. Contact us with questions about available choices.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. Relevant factors include whether an inquiry or application is active, the duration of a client or project relationship, ongoing maintenance needs, contractual obligations, applicable tax and other recordkeeping requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or protect legal rights. Different categories of records may therefore be retained for different periods. Third-party providers may have their own retention practices. Contact us with questions about a particular record.

Security and Where Information Is Processed

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information. No website, Internet transmission, or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We and our providers may store or process information outside New York, including in other states or countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to external websites, social media pages, or third-party features such as maps or embedded media. If you interact with those services, their providers may collect information under their own privacy policies and settings. We encourage you to review those policies. This policy does not govern independent third-party services.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or information practices. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
